Patient Testimonials
I recently completed my first year of chiropractic treatment by Dr. Noonan. The x-rays and other examinations confirmed my subjective impressions. Skeletal alignments have improved measurably. The resulting improvements in my quality of life include greatly reduced neck stiffness and pain, greater range of motion for neck and spine, and better balance. I am very grateful for these changes.
However, the x-rays also showed that the deviation of my skeleton's profile from optimal is still large. Also, as Dr. Noonan explains, there are destructive processes always at work in daily life, so it is important to counteract them with constructive processes. Therefore, I have committed to another year of chiropractic treatment. In fact, I plan to continue chiropractic care with Dr. Noonan indefinitely, merely adjusting the plan as needed to account for changes in my condition.
I am very grateful to Dr. Noonan and the caring, competent staff at Arc of Life Chiropractic. Arc of Life is a healing organization, and everyone plays and important role.
I recommend Arc of Life Chiropractic without reservations.

I had been experiencing some neck and shoulder pain for a long time and needed some relief. I had tried getting massages, but I was not getting any relief for longer than 24 hours. A friend recommended Dr. Noonan to me and said he might be able to get to the root of my problem...my spine. I came in to see Dr. Noonan and within the first few minutes of examining me he discovered my right leg was a whole inch longer than the other and my right shoulder leans in one direction too far.
After my first adjustment, my neck pain was almost non existent. With the continued care and posture correction I received I noticed my overall health improve. Dr. Noonan constantly records my progress to show me how I am improving. My neck pain is gone, my right leg is the same length as the other and my posture has improved immensely. This is all due to being in Dr. Noonan's chiropractic care. Thank you.

Because I waited too ling before finding Dr. Noonan (a friend of a friend recommended him to me), my 70- plus-year-old spine will never be normal. But thanks to him, most of the related discomfort has been alleviated and this has meant I won't have to have surgery or steroids, as recommended by an orthopedic surgeon.
My only problem with Dr. Noonan is that he had the nerve to go on a week's vacation and I needed my weekly "adjustment" - but I guess I'll forgive him.
I have tried to get several of my friends with back problems to consult him; but in my age group, I guess most people are resigned to living with the pain, feeling that they can't improve. They're so wrong.

Getting Back to the Strait and Narrow
I first met Dr. Noonan at a Chamber meeting where he gave a presentation on the importance of the "innate intelligence" of our bodies and how subluxations can interfere with the information flow from the body to the brain and back. This interference causes the body to not work at its full potential. Now, I wasn't having any specific problems with my back or my neck but I knew that I should get 'checked out' to ensure I was "straight". I was working hard and had been doing yoga for a few months so I was really expecting to find that I was ok. So, I made an appointment and got in for my evaluation visit.
The evaluation visit was quite painless and I thought I was still going to come out with an ok report card...but the x-rays and the weight balance scales showed otherwise.
I had second stage degeneration on my cervical column and my lumbar region had a definite curve to the left. Wow, was I shocked - I had suffered a bit of back problems during my pregnancy and got a few headaches but I wasn't expecting to be that out of whack. Well - to add to it, I got into an automobile accident the day after my evaluation and that really spurred me to getting "adjusted". At the same time, I was in the process of opening up my first little business - talk about stress.
So...I started to come in to relieve my "imbalance" three times a week. I have been in Dr. Noonan's care now for three months AND, I have never felt better. My posture is better, I am becoming more in-tune with my body, my immune system is enhanced (haven't got a cold while being in the midst of the "cooties"), I am able to handle stress with more power and resilience - lets just say; I feel better today than I did before the accident and before I started the excruciating lifestyle of a restaurateur. I really just want to put forward my thanks and gratitude to Dr. Noonan and all the staff at Arc of Life Chiropractic. I am SURE that if I had not taken the step toward chiropractic help, I would have crumbled under the pain and stress of my current lifestyle.
Thanks guys - you are GREAT!

I first met Dr. Noonan at the Fiesta Hermosa in September. My friend Betty had referred me to him. She and her husband are already patients of his. I considered chiropractic treatment because I had been seeing an infectious disease specialist who had diagnosed a type of echovirus in my system. For the past two years. This virus has caused very abnormal readings in my liver panel and has left me feeling overwhelmingly fatigued, which consequently affected my life. I have had several blood tests during this period so that my liver can be monitored and although a liver biopsy I underwent proved that there was no damage to my liver, my liver panel readings were still very abnormal.
Because I have had this medical issue for a while, the doctor had told me that the next step would be for me to undergo a type of treatment for the virus, which involves either taking oral medications or injections for a long period of time. I got very concerned when he warned me of the possible side effects of the treatment, which includes fatigue that could affect my life even more. I asked the doctor if we could wait a few months to see of my condition might improve without treatment. He agreed and he asked to see him again in December.
I had been through a lot the past two years and at that point, I was willing to try anything besides the treatment options that the doctor proposed. And that was how I ended up visiting Dr. Noonan's booth at the fair. I know that I have posture issues as well and felt that I could really benefit from chiropractic treatment. Within the first few weeks of adjustments, I noticed a difference in myself. My posture was slowly improving and I felt healthier and more energized overall.
I went back to the infectious disease doctor in December. He told me that the blood test I took showed that the count for the echovirus went down from 160 to 10! He was very pleased with the results, and so was I. He was so pleased that he said I do not need to go through the treatment. He even felt confident that I do not need to see him again.
I really truly believe the chiropractic treatment has helped me. I would definitely recommend this type of treatment not just for people with back problems or injuries, but for people who are looking for an alternative treatment for other medical issues they might have.
Thank you Dr. Noonan for helping me turn my power on!

Dear Dr. Dave,
Wow! What a difference a few months has made!
Last year the pain in my arms and wrists was becoming unbearable. After years working on the computer, my wrists were in constant pain. In fact, the only thing I could do to help lessen the pain was to wear wrist braces during the day. Although it helped to some degree, the pain persisted and I resorted to wearing the braces day and night. Thank goodness I stumbled across your booth at Fiesta Hermosa last year and decided to sign up for an office visit and exam.
I must say, even after joining Arc of Life I was probably still a little skeptical that chiropractic care alone would help alleviate the pain, but after regular office visits over the past 3-4 months the pain is almost completely gone. The braces are a thing of the past and most days I'm not reminded at all of the pain that was so prevalent just a few short months ago.
Of course, the real benefit of the treatment is the realization that the pain was just a symptom of other problems. Under your care, my posture has improved and the nagging back pain I once experienced is rarely a problem any longer.
Thanks again for all the help!
Sincerely,
Jeff Goodwin

Like many of you I came to Arc of Life because my back and neck were hurting badly. I had somewhat successfully ignored my problem/s for quite a while. Sound familiar?
Isn't it ironic how we usually take very good care of our cars and household items? Scheduled maintenance we call it. Perhaps we need to think more about "scheduled maintenance" for our spines.
I have several older friends who have refused to consider chiropractic care over the years. Recently one has had to endure a very serious operation on her back or face paralysis. I feel badly when I see the discomfort she's had this past year, and she is still in severe pain. The operation didn't work well and she may have to have yet another.
I'm so glad I had an open mind. I've experienced some wonderful, natural relief from my stiffness and pain, and the change in my energy level is remarkable. Plus...I'm so proud of my new, better posture!
I definitely recommend caring about and for yourself by coming in for regular "scheduled maintenance."

Dr. Dr. David J. Noonan and the Arc of Life Chiropractic Staff:
I would like to express my gratitude for the excellent care I have received since I walked into Arc of Life at the end of July 2005. After the sudden and unexpected death of my previous chiropractor in the spring of 2005, I visited five chiropractors looking for one that could measure up to the type of care I had been receiving for the prior four years. Arc of Life not only met this standard, but exceeded it as well, giving me the finest chiropractic care I have ever had.
I was introduced to chiropractic by my spinal surgeon, who eventually fused my C4-C5 and C5-C6 vertebrae, and partially restored the curve to my neck. I suffer from degenerative disc disease and have been in several auto accidents. Even after my neck surgery, chiropractic care has been necessary to relieve the extra stress my remaining discs face every day.
Dr. Noonan distinguished himself by acknowledging this problem while also focusing on my entire spine and nervous system. His initial examination was the most thorough I have ever undergone at a chiropractor's office. He stressed the importance of correcting the curve in my neck and the one in my lower back as well (my pelvis was fractured 20+ years ago and healed in an unbalanced position). The results have been phenomenal. My posture and balance have both improved; my energy level is the highest it has been in years. My shoulder rotation is also better. I am stronger than I have been in years-I can see the improvement during my daily workouts at the gym-and I also recover faster.
I initially chose Dr. Noonan for the quality of his adjustments, but there are other factors which have led to my satisfaction as well. The organization of the office is very precise. The plan for my care and the cost were explained in a very straightforward manner. I am never kept waiting long, and the technology employed allows him to see my x-rays before every adjustment. Also, the home traction unit I received as part of my care is extremely helpful. I use it once or twice a day because I have found that it helps take the pressure off my third occipital nerve which has caused me so many headaches.
It took me several frustrating months to find a new chiropractor, but the time spent was well worth it. Dr. Noonan is the best chiropractor I have ever met. Over the last four months my spine has improved more than I could have imagined. I look forward to my appointments because I feel better after each one. I also look forward to many more years or quality chiropractic care.
Sincerely,
Jeff Mirosavich

I am delighted to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Dr. Dave Noonan.
I first encountered "Dr. Dave" a few months ago when I was experiencing considerable pain in my arm and shoulder area. After an examination, a course of action was prescribed to remedy the situation. This was the beginning of a patient-doctor partnership.
To return to wellness, each person, patient and doctor, had to be a full partner in the process. Thankfully, my condition has improved dramatically in a relatively short period of time. I am free of the pain that limited my time to work at the computer, sleep at night, and drive long distances in my car. Additional benefits such as the improvement of my posture and general sense of well being have been icing on the cake.
I am very impressed with Dave's passion for the chiropractic profession. He is a true student in the field. I view him as a lifelong learner, open to new theory, well rounded in his education and very generous with his time. As an individual with great enthusiasm and a strong, uplifting personality, he engages those around him with genuine optimism. A positive outlook on life is a contributing factor to holistic health and may even lend to the healing process.
Dr. Dave always maintains a positive outlook and unflagging tact, which enables him to render himself as an effective and valued professional. He consistently demonstrates warmth, kindness, and sincerity. These are necessary, inherent skills that ensure his success as a helping professional.
Mary is an excellent ally to the practice, as well. She is warm and friendly and very efficient in her work. Together, with Dave, they compose a wonderful TEAM.
I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Dave Noonan without any reservations.
