About Arc of Life
Our mission at Arc of Life Chiropractic is to educate and adjust as many families in our community as possible to achieve optimal health through natural chiropractic care. This philosophy is based on taking proactive steps toward improving and maintaining health rather than reacting to the manifestations of sickness and disease. We visualize a health consciousness that focuses on caring for the entire the one that relies on drugs, unnecessary surgeries and any method that seeks to treat or mask the symptoms.
At Arc of Life Chiropractic our emphasis is on human performance, healing, and vitality that enable one to achieve optimal health. We accomplish this by strengthening the structure that protects our life force and allows the mental impulses traveling from the brain to the body and back to travel without obstruction. Our patients thereby discover that the body heals from above down and from inside out — and that it happens no other way.
ARC OF LIFE STAFF
DR. DAVID NOONAN is a Summa Cum Lauda graduate from Cleveland Chiropractic College Los Angeles. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology as well as his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He is certified through the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and licensed through the State Board of Chiropractic Examiners of the state of California.
David was born and raised in Great Falls Montana where he was and avid skier, hunter, fisherman and football player. He did his undergraduate studies at Montana State University where his roommate introduced him to bodybuilding. The culmination of his bodybuilding career occurred in 1990 when he won the Nevada state championship and the North American Championship.
These days when he is not taking care of his patients, he enjoys running, cycling, weight training and hanging out at the beach. Having finished a couple of marathons and several cycling events, there are rumors that he may get into triathlons soon...we'll see.
MARY NOONAN is our office manager and, as such, wears many hats. Her smile is the first thing you see when you enter our office as she commands the front desk answering the phone, checking patients in and out and doing all of the scheduling.
Mary holds a degree in computer science from Purdue University and of course we don't want to let that talent go to waste. She is our own IT person and is responsible for our computer network. This is no small task as our office is completely automated. If there is a problem with our system it is not long before someone is shouting, "Mary...there's something wrong with the computers!"
Born in Denver and raised in southern Indiana, Mary will show you all the hospitality you come to expect from a good Midwestern gal. She also has the dubious honor of being married to the doctor, which is no walk in the park...but don't tell him that!
She will be happy to schedule your appointment for you, just give her a call.
Laura Caputo began studying massage therapy and bodywork at the Institute of Psycho Structural Balancing (IPSB) in July 2000. She has been providing massage therapy to the South Bay community ever since. Starting out at Beach Cities Health District and working in a chiropractor's office in Ranchos Palos Verdes, she began her practical discovery of how the body responds to touch.
Ever since 2003, Laura has been in private practice. She continues to further her studies and deepen her practice employing various bodywork techniques such as Acupressure, Cranial Sacral Unwinding, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Lymphatic Drainage, Foot Reflexology, and Pre-Natal massage.
Her passion is to serve as many individuals in the South Bay offering her own special brand of massage therapy by creating a safe healing space, a tailor-made bodywork session, a renewed body awareness, gentle and deep tissue manipulation, and a genuine opportunity for the body to heal.
